This is the master policy document for both anthologylighting.com and the Magnolia, Texas showroom. Trade and builder accounts may have additional or different terms governed by their account agreement.
Our Approach
Anthology Lighting is a curated showroom serving homeowners, designers, and builders nationwide. Our policies apply consistently whether you shop with us in person at our Magnolia, Texas showroom or online at anthologylighting.com. Shipping
We offer free shipping at two thresholds based on the size of your order and how it ships:
- FREE Ground Shipping on orders over $49 (small parcel via UPS or FedEx Ground)
- FREE Freight Shipping on orders over $1,499 (chandeliers, large fixtures, and oversized items requiring freight delivery)
Orders below these thresholds are charged shipping based on size, weight, and destination, calculated at checkout.
Most small parcel orders ship from our Magnolia, Texas warehouse within 2 business days. Freight items typically deliver curbside; threshold and white-glove delivery options are available for an additional fee — please contact us before ordering.
Expedited shipping is available at the actual carrier cost. Please contact us before ordering for a quote.
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories are subject to additional shipping charges that are calculated at checkout and not included in our free shipping thresholds.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order shipped with promotional or free shipping, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund in the event of a return.
Order Cancellation
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of placement at no charge. Once an order has been placed with the manufacturer or has shipped, it cannot be canceled and will be treated as a return.
Special orders and custom-finish items cannot be canceled once the order has been placed with the manufacturer.
Returns
You may return eligible items within 90 days of receipt for a refund to your original payment method, less a restocking fee and original shipping charges.
Eligibility
To be eligible for return, items must be:
- Uninstalled and unused
- In the original manufacturer's box with no markings or writing
- Complete with all original parts, manuals, and accessories
- Free of damage, scratches, or signs of wear
- Returned within 90 days of delivery
- Accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number
Restocking Fee
A 25% restocking fee may apply to returned items. This reflects the costs of inspection, repackaging, and returning items to inventory.
Shipping on Returns
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. You may use a carrier of your choice; we recommend a service with tracking and insurance. Anthology is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order received free or promotional shipping, the actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return:
- Custom orders and custom-finish items
- Sale and clearance items
- Closeout items
- Special-order items
- Items that have been installed, used, modified, or wired
- Items missing original packaging, parts, or accessories
- Items returned without a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number
How to Initiate a Return
To request a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number, call 866-540-6001 or email service@anthologylighting.com. Returns sent without an RGA number will not be accepted and no credit will be issued.
Damaged or Defective Items
We carefully inspect every order before it leaves our warehouse, but damage can occur in transit. Please inspect all packages immediately upon receipt, even if you do not plan to install the item right away.
If you notice damage on the outer packaging at the time of delivery, document it with photos before signing for the shipment, and refuse delivery if the damage is severe.
For damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items, contact us within 5 business days of delivery at 866-540-6001 or service@anthologylighting.com. We will arrange for return shipment at no cost to you and ship a replacement or issue a full refund, including original shipping.
Claims made after 5 business days may not be accepted, as our manufacturer partners require timely notification.
Please do not install a damaged or defective item. Installed items are not eligible for return or refund, even if defective — they become a manufacturer warranty claim instead.
Manufacturer Warranties
All products carry the original manufacturer's warranty, which varies by brand. For warranty claims on installed products, we will help facilitate the claim with the manufacturer. Please call 866-540-6001 with your order number and a description of the issue.
Manufacturer warranty timelines are typically 1 year from date of purchase but may be longer or shorter depending on the brand. Warranty processing times are determined by the manufacturer and typically take 4–8 weeks.
Showroom Pickup and Local Delivery
Customers in the Magnolia, Texas area may choose will-call pickup at the showroom or local delivery for an additional fee. Showroom pickup orders follow the same return and exchange policies as online orders.
Trade and Builder Accounts
Trade customers, designers, and builders may have additional or different terms negotiated in their account agreement. For trade and builder orders, please refer to your account terms or contact your Anthology sales associate. Where account terms differ from the policies on this page, the account terms apply.
